Why email coaching works!

John believes e-mail coaching offers many important benefits over the traditional one-on-one coaching situation. Consider the following advantages of email coaching:

  • more frequent coach/client interaction at your convenience with productive thinking time between connections.
  • explore your experience when the time is best for you – you are not restricted to pre-arranged appointment times.
  • deeper thinking, feeling and experiencing before responding as you take time to answer questions.
  • reduces the reactive responses, natural defenses and subtle anxieties that arise in one-on-one interactions.
  • goes beyond your conscious mind to draw information from your subconscious, as the writing process offers better answers to questions (journaling).
  • more integration time and reduces the client’s dependency on the coach.
  • more clarity of intention, self reflection and self reliance.
  • larger and more thoughtful growth steps that far surpass the short reactive conversational steps.

How does it work?

  1. Before we start the email coaching process, you must fill out the “About Me” questionnaire so John gets to know who you think you are, where you think you are at and where you think you are going in life.
  2. So there is consistency, you will be sent a reminder email to prompt your questions for the week.
  3. And you are welcome to send in questions anytime and they will be answered within 48 hours, but most often the same day.
  4. My responses to your questions and issues will consist of insights, questions for deeper probing, new perspectives to consider and sometimes exercises or some reading so you understand the bigger picture of the issue or situation.

I look forward to growing with you.
